Fake-PBR is a visual style I have developed and refined over several years. It is based on manually creating the illusion of realistic materials without relying on full 3D rendering or physically accurate shaders. Through painted layers of light, shadow, texture, grain, and artificial ambient occlusion, I build surfaces that feel metallic, worn, rough, polished, or aged.
Over time, this process became part of my own visual language. It is not only a technical trick, but a way of designing material presence by hand. Instead of letting software calculate realism for me, I construct it layer by layer, controlling how the surface feels, reflects, and carries atmosphere.
