PoliTalks is a digital platform concept that rethinks how people talk about politicsonline.Simply it is a anti-Tinder—Omegle crossover, about politics.Instead of chaotic comment sections and algorithm-fueled outrage, PoliTalksproposes structured, context-driven political discussions that prioritizeunderstanding over emotional warfare. It treats political conversation as something worth designing properly. Shocking, Iknow.

Why does it exist?
- Polarization is increasing
People are drifting into opposing ideological camps, seeing each other less as opponents and more as enemies. - People are disengaging
Many avoid political discussion entirely due to hostility, harassment, and emotional exhaustion. - People forgot how to discuss
- Discussion is pointless if we all have the same view on situation
- People of complete opposite sides should be able to talk with our spitting acid on each other.
- I want to make people talk, not yell at each other.
- Most of my friends turn to white supremacists after few years. 1 by 1 you can explain them that it is not good way.
- Every extreme is bad, if you disagree prove me wrong.
- Manipulation in media
Internet is full of manipulation, I do not mean the obvious “controlled facts sharing”, but limitating the options. Like 2-axis political compass (left-right, authoritarian-libertarian)
The result is a public sphere dominated by extremes while moderate and uncertain voices disappear.
PoliTalks is a response to situation in our society right now.
Who is it for?
- People who care about politics but hate when somebody disagrees with them.
- Students, young voters, and curious citizens
- Anyone who wants to understand opposing viewpoints without being attacked.
- Users tired of shouting matches disguised as debate
It is not about just knowing what is right, It is about understanding.
What can someone achieve with it?
With PoliTalks, users can:
- Explore political topics with clear structure and context
- See multiple perspectives side by side
- Express opinions without fear
- Participate in political discussion without emotional burnout
It lowers the cost of participation and raises the quality of conversation.
No trophies for yelling. No punishment for nuance.

Start Debating

- On the Home Screen you have access to to different topics.
- Choose one (You have 3 levels on the portal, the more debates you go trough the more exp, you get, which unlocks new, more complicated topics).
Pre-debate game:

- Before you start to talk about “boring stuff”, I want both users to feel the connection between them.
- To do it, you both will play a short platform game (max 3min), which are 3 (not in Figma project, this is in a separate app design on my disk)
1. Balance the swing – both of you have to place your ball on the swing and make it in a perfect balance,
2.Find the spark in the dark – Both of you control a spark in a simple maze, your goal is to find each other without seeing other person’s spark
3. Build the bridge – You have to build the bridge to go across, using horizontal and vertical rectangles. Horizontal are for road, vertical are for securing stability, person controls only one of these, so you need to cooperate together.
Debate:
- You will meet a person of opposite opinion (based on their test results)
- Voice call is mandatory, but camera is optional and both of you have to agree to use camera together.
- Your goal is to find a common ground (the catch is you cannot end the call, before 30min)
- Trained AI-model will listen to the call to look for fake news and show the data of what you are talking about
- Debates have 3 phases:
- Opening (1 per person, no limited time, you click when you are finished)
- Counter arguments (1 per person, the other person stays muted)
- Open conversation, both of you are unmuted and can freely talk to find the common ground.
- Compromise (Once you both agree how to solve the issue, you are free to go)
- – After you find the common ground, your test results will change according to what you decide during your last debate.
